All Simon Balle students complete a three-year varied and balanced D&T curriculum spending an even amount of time in each area of Design Technology. These four areas are Food, Graphics, Resistant Materials and Textiles.
The course is tailored to encourage flair and creativity. It is directed towards encouraging each student to hopefully take a place on one of the schools Design and Technology courses. The Key Stage 3 curriculum allows the students to experience a wide range of practical skills as well as gaining knowledge and understanding of the various aspects of the subject.
