A Simon Balle Student will have had a varied and stimulating Design and Technology education.

They will:

Be able to design and make high quality products using either Food, Textiles, Graphics or Resistant Material.
Have a good understanding of the design process and a creative approach to problem solving
Be capable of following a making plan, developing and adapting their approach as needed
Be good self managers organising time and resources efficiently.
Be independent and capable of using a wide range of materials or ingredients, tools, equipment, technical terms and processes.
Be resourceful and have an understanding of ethical issues
Be capable of evaluating their own work and the work of others in a constructive and productive way
Have the drive and determination to work around problems without giving up.
