A Simon Balle Student will have had a varied and stimulating Design and Technology education.
They will:
- Be able to design and make high quality products using either Food, Textiles, Graphics or Resistant Material.
- Have a good understanding of the design process and a creative approach to problem solving
- Be capable of following a making plan, developing and adapting their approach as needed
- Be good self managers organising time and resources efficiently.
- Be independent and capable of using a wide range of materials or ingredients, tools, equipment, technical terms and processes.
- Be resourceful and have an understanding of ethical issues
- Be capable of evaluating their own work and the work of others in a constructive and productive way
- Have the drive and determination to work around problems without giving up.
